My
real name is Jen (actually, it's Jennifer, but blame the parents.) and I'm now
officially an adopted Brummie goth. I live in this funny grey city with Falcon,
my long-suffering other half, and our four squawking budgies.
I've been here for ages, and I still manage to get lost around town.
During the day, I make myself look a bit more presentable and go to work pushing
papers around for the NHS.
The rest of my time after that is split rather unequally between sleeping, and being rather tipsy.
Before
I moved up here, I lived in Hastings, East Sussex, for nigh on 21 years. I am
so glad to be out of that town. I guess it's ok if you like old people,
seagulls, rotting piers, and small annoying Marilyn Munchkins. I used to work
for Victoria Wine. Yuck. 'Nuff said.
I also spent 2 years at Hastings College studying Computing, and I came out
of that with an OND, some lovely friends, and an attitude :)
I then went on to do my HND, but decided to pack it in after the first year.
What's business management got to do with buggering up computers anyway??
I came out of that course £1500 lighter, and with an even bigger
"bog-off" attitude. I did, however, figure out how to make a great
mess with wires and bits of solder.
Oh, yeah, and I managed to stuff up one of the new Pentiums the college had just bought. Anyone want to employ me?!
